I have a cyst in a REALLY embarrassing area and NHS won’t touch it as it’s cosmetic.
I’m happy to pay to get rid of it - where does one go for this? When I google all I really find are clinics in London - don’t know how trustworthy these are or if they charge way too much?

I have had 2 cysts removed. One on an eyelid at an NHS hospital and another towards the base of my penis by my GP. Has the lump been actually diagnosed as a cyst by your GP? Do any of the GPs in your practice do minor surgery? Some do. If the surgery is definitely a no and your GP will not refer you to a specialist, do a google search for dermatologists in your area. Most areas have private hospitals where you can get a minor op like that done and some NHS hospitals have private facilities. Hope that helps but without knowing where you are I cannot help further.
Cysts don't tend to disappear spontaneously. It seems strange you can't get this treated. Did you get this from your GP or after referral to hospital? If the info just came from your GP, I would try to see a different one.
