What does a healthy foreskin look like (uncircumcised males only)?

Hi All,

This question relates to my previous post I made about my own foreskin:

healthunlocked.com/mensheal...

What does a healthy foreskin look like for uncircumcised males when it is pulled all the way back as much as possible? Does the appearance vary by age as well? Does rougher masturbation (I use lube when playing, but I still like long sessions) cause long term problems?

I've been looking for pictures online of healthy foreskin in uncircumcised males, but I'm not finding any articles that explain what healthy foreskin looks like. It's always pics about how big a guy's junk is... not what is considered healthy / unhealthy.

Can anyone help me out?

I would expect a healthy skin colour with no cuts or undue bumps.

It should move fairly freely up and down the shaft.

Not much help I guess ?

Thanks. Unfortunately, those images are pretty small, and I'm seeing lots of red on these foreskins, so maybe mine is normal if these are considered normal.

I feel like those images are NOT normal. Few males probably have foreskin that long. I'm uncut, and my foreskin is nowhere near that long, and those images actually make me feel quite lucky. I don't know why any male would want long foreskin like that... not that we get to choose, but still, I feel like those images are not the normal, but then again, what do I know?

I would die for a foreskin that long.

The foreskin can be anywhere in length and even color- men with brighter colored glans and inner foreskin show a more dense concentration of vascularity and as a result it’s shows better health. Some are red in color and that’s not to show that anything’s wrong with them they are just made that way. In terms of glans some people think the smoother the glans the more health it shows but again everyone is different. You as a penis owner are the best guess for its health and even as a urologist there is no “best depiction” of a healthy normal penis, but there are a few things that show that something is wrong and even that’s a case by case effort.

Your penis definitely looks red from what I can tell and it looks like you may have a frenulum breve- using antibacterial soap is a good way to get an infection as it reduces good bacteria while inviting bad bacteria but your redness looks like it is just in need of rest(this area needs a longer period of healing than other parts)

The other parts of your penis look pretty good, you have a great concentration of veins and the skin has a smooth texture. I’d say that without the redness your penis would be a natural depiction of a healthy penis

Not what you're looking for?
