Is this a symptom of HIV

Hello,

I have recently been tested and found to be STI free, however this was only about 13 days after I had (mostly) protected sex. It would have been fully protected except before he put the condom on he tried to push his penis into my anus without a condom but I stopped him before it reached that far.

I was worried straight away that I might have caught something like HIV and around 2 weeks after I started to have an occasional headache (at the front of the head around the eyes) and nose congestion...

I thought this was hay fever or sinus problems during the summer so I went to get some hay fever and then sinus tablets which has now cleared it up.

I’m still so worried that it is HIV....

I have more tests on Friday but want to be prepared...please help

The type of genital contact you had would be very unlikely to transmit HIV. he had not ejaculated, there was no actual penetration / mechanical action of sex. Test at four weeks post the event. only 4 out of ten people have seroconversion symptoms . Your symptoms are not typical for that .
