Enlarged Prostate

Hi I am new to this community, Has anybody had a Urolift procedure on the Prostrate ?. I had the procedure yesterday (Friday) and would appreciate some feedback off anyone who has had it done. thanks

I am on the waiting list for this procedure. I have read that symtom relief is not as good as that achieved from a TURP.

Hi , Since having the urolift i have found the symptoms have almost disappeared.

It was done with a local anaesthetic and sedation took about 10mins and was out in no time.

with the Turp you are put to sleep so recovery is a bit longer, I have no idea what the sympton relief would be like.

Hi, I think I might have put across the wrong slant. I was more wondering whether the symptoms that led you to having the Urolift had eased/ceased? I.E. urination frequency, disturbed sleep, difficulty starting etc.
