I’m 20 years old and I’ve been struggling with a rather “mild” phimosis my whole life. Just recently I’ve decided on getting this procedure done, but I’m a little afraid. So I would really appreciate it if someone who has had gone through this procedure could give me some advice.
Ps: how do I avoid getting those “skin tunnels” over the circ scar? What circumcision style is better in your opinion?
Thank you!

Hey! I’ve tried it but it’s really annoying and time consuming lol. I also have a very short frenulum. Sex is a little bit painful(not oral sex, but penetrative sex certainly is) so I wanna get rid of the problem as soon as possible!
Is it painful tho? With all the stitches, swelling etc?
I see no rudeness in sharing truth. I suggest that your rejection of truth is bordering on rudeness. That people embrace genital mutilation does not equate to being right or smart. I understand body dysmorphic disorder well enough to petition against its practice.
The only two reasons stretching won’t work are: 1. Unresolved skin disease, most commonly, yeast; 2. Improper technique and/or lack of sufficient effort. When skin is healthy, the laws of nature dictate that skin, mucosa and muscle tissue will grow when put under tension. Mild phimosis is generally curable within the same time frame as recovery from circumcision, and no side effects or complication result. Both the frenar band and the frenulum can be enlarged.
Stretching doesn't work in most cases. I've tried it, and it can make things worse.

How is your recovery going. I am a week post procedure tomorrow and still quite swollen and still finding I'm bleeding, which I was expecting at night because of erections
Hello. Honestly extremely surprised I have not had any pain whatsoever I was expecting quite a bit. So no I wouldn't say it's painful at all. I bled for the fist couple of days regularly but not excessively (if that makes sense) but have bled at least once everyday this week. I suffered with the same issue of phimosis and the stretching didn't work for me.
You're more than welcome. Happy to share if it's going to help someone else.
Erections are the worst part. At night seems to be the only time they are a problem and the advice I have been given is to go to bed with as much of an empty bladder as possible or to try taking bromide which is something that the soldiers use to take to prevent them. I have been awoken through the night (not a lot) with a feeling of like stretching which has been an erection and only thing can really do is think of something else.
The advice around masturbating and sex varies but my urologist has told me 6 weeks 😤 lol
Hahahaha oh my god I don’t think I’ll be able wait for so long! But I bet it’s going to be worth it, and I’ll make sure to make up for all the time lost 😂
Phimosis has really affected my sex life, penetration is painful af lol and I’m always afraid of cutting my frenulum off. So I’m really excited to finally having this done 😎🤟
Yeah I understand where you're coming from with that. It affected me but didn't think much of it tried the stretching and tried steroidal cream but neither worked. Just wish I had done it earlier in life as am 10 years older than you.
Am sure you will be fine and it will all go well for you 👍🏻
You might consider canceling your appointment and try those stretching exercises. I believe most circumcisions turn out alright, but the recovery process is remarkably long - meaning painful or inconvenient for weeks or even months, and sometimes it doesn't turn out all right. On the other hand, stretching exercises have only one possible downside: They may not work, in which case, you can always get your circumcision later.
On the other hand, the stretching exercises can be quite enjoyable. Of course you have to be erect for the exercises to work. Where it gets really nice is when you get a friend or family member to help you out.
When stretching sufficiently to be effective, it can be a bit painful (I'm told), so you could tell close friends or relatives that you won't do it to yourself, and therefore, you need their help.
Yes go for it. Modern circumcision is very good now. Sometimes stitches are not required. I went for a local anasethic the jabs were a little painful but worth it. I went for a tight cut. It is perfect now, no problems and looks great. My wife loves it. Go for it. Recovery takes a while but look after it keep it clean you will be fine
Pain should not be experience in stretching. It is necessary to get only to the point of the onset of discomfort. Nor is an erection necessary or even desirable as it may prevent a proper grip. Only a skin disease interferes with the efficacy of stretching, and that is most frequently yeast. Yeast control should run concurrently with stretching, and especially so when employing the steoid cream generally prescribed. The steroid actually encourages yeast growth, thereby being counterproductive. I suspect this could be a major factor in the oft claimed failure of stretching. Truth is that stretching cannot fail when done properly.
To each his own..I hope you are happy with your new dick..after you heal please remember you'll need lubricant were you might not have before? To Jerk off I wish you speedy healing a
