Post Vasectomy Pain

I had a vasectomy in 1992. Immediately I knew something wasn't correct on the right side; very painful and hot. Told it will settle! Well after years of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, a Urology Surgeon finally decided to remove the right testicle and give me a prosthesis one. Well, you'd think that would do the trick, but no. The pain continues, so after a further 15 years of pain with a plastic ball, I had a second one put in yesterday (5 July 19). The surgeon was very good, but said the first one just slid out and there was no infection anywhere.....however I still have pain on the remaining Vas Deferens and they feel very hard like a tendon. Whether or not its a build up of seminal fluid coming back up from the seminal vesicle no professional can tell me. So, has anyone else had the same issues, if so how did you resolve it, if at all?

I have been there myself and paid out of pocket over £3000 for a reversal that the NHS would not cover, it sounds like your epididymis is getting pushed over pressure.

The NHS state 1/10 men are left with long term pain problems after vasectomy, but that seemingly does not stop surgical sterilisation being hammered relentlessly at men like nobodys business in the press etc.
