new here, my son had testicular torsion operation in 2012, they stitched both of them to stop it from happening again. 2 nights ago he came from his room in exactly the same pain again. He told me he had masturbated and the pain came on after he ejaculated, Ambulance wouldn't come out to him (again) even though its an emergency so i had to take him to A&E, by now the pain had subsided and two docs gave him an examination and said they could offer no explanation and sent him home, im no doctor but even i know this isn't right. He is still in a bit of pain. We are sure he faces another operation. Has anybody else had this? surely the pain shouldn't still be lingering? thanks.

Testicular Torsion
No idea. But could be some medicine in his next masturbating help and gradually this may get adjusted
it just happened again and he wasn't doing anything.
I would take him to the GP and get this looked at, if it is recurring then something might not be right get it looked at asap. I at age 17 had this problem and ignored it, eventually it got to the stage where i couldn't move and was rushed into hospital where they operated but couldn't save the testicle. Being embarrassed about the situation is what caused me to suffer. Please do not panic though i do not want you or your son to worry. Just get it looked at. Hopefully it is nothing, let us know the outcome.
hanks for replying. out of hours doc said to go A&E again and we've just got back, two docs checked him out again and said they didn't know what is was but unlikely to be be torsion again. the registrar spoke to urology and they said its not as he had the operation and it wouldn't happen again because of the op, although my money is on a retorsion and probably needs more stitches. registrar said he will write to my doc to arrange and ultrasound just incase to rule out anything like tumours, i had to ask about an ultrasound and a urine test if not they would have just sent him home with 2 paracetamol again!! but i still say the op hasn't worked.
