Weight loss not helped buried penis. Why is this happening now?

I started getting buried penis a little over a month ago. I don't know what is causing it or why it has just started to get even worse a month ago, but I've never had this problem to this extent before. Back in my teenage years, it would happen for maybe a day or two at a time, and then go away, and it has been rare since then.

However, a month ago it started getting really annoying. A couple weeks later, for awhile it seemed to not be as bothersome, but a week later it was back and buried again more annoying than ever, and I get relief for about a minute after un-tucking it.

However, since it started happening, I've lost 20 pounds, and it has not improved. When pressure is applied to the pubic region, it pushes the foreskin over it and tucks it in. My penis also feels smaller in the past month than it was. I thought maybe the problem is my cold was causing a lack of blood being pumped there as sex drive was low while I was sick, but I haven't felt sick in a good 5-6 days and it is not better. I also don't feel as my sex drive is low right now, just a smaller penis somehow.

I am 6'1'' and 287 pounds. I was 308 pounds when this problem first started. If this is due to obesity, I guess part of the reason weight loss may not have helped is because the weight I've lost thus far has been mostly on the face, chin, neck, arms, and thighs. My waist line hasn't receded much and my gut is still just as big, so it is still pushing against the region that pushes the foreskin.

I'm going to ask about this in 3 months when I get my anti-depressants renewed if it hasn't stopped then, because I estimate I'll be about 30-35 pounds lighter by then, and if being down to 250 doesn't help, I don't imagine weight loss really will fix it.

Any other ideas? I tried taping it up, wearing a condom keep the skin in place, or applying a not too tight rubber band, but nothing can stop the skin from folding.

What is your age? Any issues with sex drive now? Is masturbation possible?

Sorry to hear your situation man but i have to tell you that this is mainly due to your weight. Its great that you lost 20 pounds but from 308 pounds id say you would only really start seeing a difference when you lose about 40 more pounds. Not to mention if you keep at it and manage to get yourself down to 200 you will be astonished at the results. Just be patient and keep doing what your doing man. You will soon see a difference. Good luck mate

Losing weight causing excess skin. The skin folding in that area would seem normal to me. 20 lbs is a significant loss, so you'll start seeing this droopy skin in a lot of places like the underarms, chest, stomach, and pubic area. It should shrink up eventually, but if your penis is buried, you may want to get your hormones check first to see how your testosterone is doing. You didn't mention your age, but being obese or overweight can naturally lower testosterone levels. Losing weight, working out and getting exercise, and being aroused in general help heighten them. You can also try amino acids like arginine and minerals like zinc to see if that helps with size, but if you're just a bit too short by default, you might want to think about stretching. I'd consider it once you've reached your target goal though, and made sure this isn't just extra skin burying it.

The skin is definitely too saggy in the area. As I was getting older, which I'm 31 now, a lot of my fat turned more into a lot of fatty skin. I was 308 pounds when I first noticed this being a regular problem and not just happening for a day or two and then going away every now and then. Now, I'm 287 pounds. I was getting so overweight though, that so far the only places I seemed to have lost fat thus far was on the cheeks, chin, neck, arms, and thighs. The waist line and gut hasn't receded yet.

I see my doctor again just over 3 months to re-evaluate my anti-depressants, and by then I should have lost at least another 25-30 pounds assuming I stay good on this diet, so if the problem is not at least somewhat improved to where it isn't happening every time I walk, then I'll see if there are any other suggestions.

I cannot get surgery though because I simply cannot afford it. My insurance covers only up to 300 for a day in the hospital, and then a small reimbursement for other procedures, not usually more than 500 dollars, and I live in Texas now, meaning I don't get the medical debt forgiveness due to low income the way I did in Ohio.

Finally see one that really feels like it hit home.. I have the same issue except that I am not heavy set. though in the past couple of years it has gotter worse. Checked my hormone levels and it all seemed to be normal.

It is very annoying to walk with this situation.

I've noticed this is somewhat corollary with low sex drive. I'm primarily asexual meaning I do have a libido, but my sex interest is very limited and I don't desire a sex partner.

So, I've never really felt a need to ask about a low sex drive, as it generally is not low, but the times it is, it doesn't really impact me emotionally very much.

When it started, I was sick and my penus felt thinner. I started losing weight and then the problem reduced for awhile, and now it's back. I don't feel sick, but the temperature here in Dallas drastically went down in the last week when it started up again, and I've not seen the sun in almost 2 weeks.

I'm not sure if that is related at all.

I am on antidepressants that are working.
