I got my operation 10 days ago and from my experience i had major swelling after 2 days but its down significantly. I am having some bleeding problems too, two areas are more prone to have some blood come out especially last night when the blood got stuck to my underwear and i moved the wrong way. As for bleeding just apply pressure preferably with gauze for 5 minutes. I used tissue and it would often get stuck, dont make my mistake. And what ever you do, do not apply anything other than vaseline. Most of the neosporin and other brands will actually dramatically slow healing. When im laying down i have my clothes off and it resting on my pelvis, walking around the house leave it tucked up with some tight fitting underwear to help reduce swelling. If you leave it down its more likely to bleed.
