How long until head is not sensitive after adult circumcision?

18 years old and got circumcised due to phimosis. Head has clearly never seen the outside world before and on day 12 is still extremely sensitive to touch. Anyone know when it's gonna calm down?

Not more than 6 weeks

It does take time, but at some point you need to expose it to some 'risk' as this will help the healing process. I used shower jet, slowly introducing more pressure and directing it nearer the head. Meanwhile try keep it still and do not be afraid to use painkillers.

It is always go to "feel" different rubbing on your underwear at least for me (6 months post op) however the dryness, itchy, temperature sensitive part will go way. I saw 4 to 6 weeks.
