Low testosterone

Hello, I recently found out I have low testosterone. I'm assuming it's from my very poor diet. I was always an extremely picky eater since I was a kid. I never ate meat or vegetables until my 20s so I dont think ive developed or grown as much as i should have. I've noticed my testicles aren't as big as they once were aswell. My question is if i change my diet and exercise will my testosterone and testicles go back to normal or is it too late? I am 30 years old.

I have seen 3 different doctors about my testosterone levels. Non gave me a good reason why I cannot be treated. I am 28 Years old and my testosterone readings are 256, 280, 289 all different times/months.

First Doctor is my GP, basically just referred me to endocrinologist. He said I am too young and walked out.

Next doctor was a Urologist, he said that that treatment is only something he would give to his older cancer patients.

After doing research I have considered self medicating. Not the smartest thing to do but doctors are ignoring my symptoms. I Have a doctors appointment with my GP coming up and will decide after.

I say this because I have 90% of the symptoms listed on WebMD, and my blood test show low results. I have been on other forums and the community says 600 is the ideal natural level, however 800 is where a person "feels" good.

Back to your question. I did a diet lost 20lb, Had huge improvement on my diet, and exercised. Over a 4 month period my levels went up by 30 points. Something to note, my blood levels were taken first thing in the morning while fasting, according to other websites testosterone is highest in the morning and drops throughout the day.

I've been on testosterone replacement for over 8 years, and I can tell you that in the U.S. doctors are very uneducated on this subject. Your best bet is a male endocrinologist. You need to have more than just a testosterone test done. There are many things that can cause Low T and all of those things have to be eliminated. At 28, you are very low. those averages that they feed you are basically worthless. Your testosterone levels need to be where you need them to be, not what some doctor thinks it should be. At 61 my doctor shoots for 800 to a 1000. And I do feel good. To get in touch with someone in the know, go to Tnation.com and go to the forums. Scroll down to the 2nd from the last link. T replacement and get in touch with the KCman.
