Blood trapped during circumcision process.

Hey guys, so is this normal? It seems to be blood trapped in that swelling skin. It's the 9th day of my circumcision recovery and that has been there since after I got circumcised. I tried using a flashlight and placed it underneath it while pointing the light at the targeted area to identify if it's meat but it turns out to be blood. I have a feeling that if the stitches are gone and the wounds are gone maybe it will be able to circulate the body again.

(Dont mind a dark brown liquid on my penis, it's just a betadine to prevent infections)

That trapped fluid is definately lymphedema fluid that we all get when swelled after circumcision. It seems to me that you have a dorsal slit the surgeon made on your foreskin because of phimosis. You don't seem to have a complete "circumcision".

Look up "dorsal slit" on the internet to see photos. That slit is made to give your head adequate amount of room to slide through your foreskin's opening

Are there anyways to remove the fluid or to reduce it?

Lymph fluid is triggered and operated off of signaling from injured sites. As it sits there in a pool of itself, swelling your tissue. It is microlly delivering proteins and nutrients for your tissue's rebuilding. It also traverses bad and dead cells to your lymp nodes to be filtered or dumped, and returns to the injured site back with it some fresh new cells and blood. When it detects the lowering of the signal recievings, that is its que that the job is finally finished (anywhere from days to weeks), and it departs.

This sustem is called the human body's Lymph System. Look it up! Its seperate from the nervous or circulatory systems.

So basically, your penis will reduce the swelling on its own in due time. Give it anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 1/2 months. Its gonna take anywhere in that range because our penis is sensitive and is mainly covered and smothered during the day. So it gets knocked around, bumped around, and mashed throughout the day, that it is constantly getting interruptions with its healing. Sometimes gun and car accident wound victims require this same time frame for their deep wounds to heal.
