Post circumcision questions.

Hey, so I had my circumcision 3 nights ago and so far everything's going okay, but my problem is the sensitivity in the head, I'm trying my best just to brave it out and get the desensitisation over and done with, so I took my bandage off the morning after my op and have been wearing boxers around the house since. It hurts a bit but I'm getting there, but here's my problem, in 9 days I have my driving test, and I really want to be able to concentrate the best I can for this and I was wondering if anyone had experience driving after day 12, would I be better moving my test date back?

Additionally after my shower today there has been a small amount of discharge which I can't wipe up as it's under a fold at the bottom of my penis and it's far too sensitive to get a paper towel down - there's no pain, it doesn't smell and it's a yellowy white colour, I was wondering if this was okay and if I should leave it or not (I'd show photos but I'm 17 so I can't).

Firstly the discharge, it is probably nothing to worry about. Try pulling the skin back slightly when washing this should help rinse it away. You are best letting it air dry or gently pat dry.

As for your driving test, once you are in the driving seat it will probably not hurt to much but I would advise putting the test back. You want to be able to concentrate on your driving.

The sensitivity does decrease but it does take time.

Thanks for your help, I've read the discharge can be normal but idk I've never had anything like this done before so I'm freaking out over the small things! I'm just worried to shower again now after it opened up, I'll probably try washing it with salt water tomorrow.

Definitely give the salt water a go. Some say swish your Penis around in a bowl or cup of salt solution, others put some in the bath. Either way be very gentle and do not be afraid to seek medical advice.

Thanks for your reply, I understand that's why it's sensitive but it's more how long it will take before it's comfortable to wear clothes, not just bearable.

Hi I was circumcised when I was 12 I still have sensation in the head I'm 28 now if you need to u can put a little bit of patrolium jelly on the glands stop it rubbing if that helps also mine is not leathery or callouse in the slightest hope this helps
