I was curious how much sensation do you retain after all the healing is done. I know this is a case by case basis but still curious about those who have already have gone through the process. Im interested in getting the procedure done for mainly cosmetic purposes and possible medical reason. Going to speak to a doctor today and just wanted to get feedback from those who have gone through it. In my mid 20s if thats relevant or not.

Sensation after Circumcision
I'm 37 and had mine done in Jan this year.
I'm sure everyone has different experiences but for me it's all good.
I'd never been able to retract fully which is why I had the opportunity done.
Now everything is healed the sensation is far better than before. Sex feels much more intense and enjoyable.
I posted quiet a lot through my journey if you want to click my name and see some of my posts.

Hey man, when you had the Op done in January were you put to sleep under general anasthesia, or only under the anesthesia needle (local)?
If you were put to sleep, were you in pain as soon asyou awoke, or hours later to feel the pain? How long did you wear gauzes, what day did you start taking full showers? How did the friction of your underwear feel as you walked about your notmal day, in the first 2 weeks?
I was asleep for op. Op done at around 10am and I went home at 2.00pm. A bit uncomfortable but not painful. Made mistake of standing up at toilet and pissed everywhere!
My dressing fell off before I even left the hospital and never replaced it. I just put my boxers and trousers on and went home, walking like I'd shit my pants.
I just put small bit of gauze and Vaseline on cock head at night to stop it rubbing.
What I felt was strange was that as my exposed head rubbed on clothes, it gave me an erection all the time and made me leak precum. Strange. That lasted about 2 weeks.
I wanked from day 10 gently and sex from day 27.
Feel free to message me if you want to chat further.
Thanks, your comment on placing a small gauze with vaseline on when going to bed, what does that actually mean? Lol Did the gauze and vaseline just stick to a certain spot, and hold there all night; did you have to wrap medical tape around the gauze to make it stay?
In your reasons for surgery, were any of it because of frenulum breve, or phimosis? If brevity was the case, do you think a frenuloplasty would have solved your problem, or is circumcision absolutely necessary?
When some men say that their glans chaffed, ruffed, and grew stack layers of tissue whereas they've lost a significant amount of sensitivity. Do you agree that that happened with you by this time, or are you still maintaing dome degree of sensitivity?
Mine was done due to severe phimosis. I kept my frenulum. My head was never exposed so skin would split and bleed during sex.
Since the op sex has been more pleasurable and much more intense. I can feel it much more now.
That said, everyone's experience is different.
I'd suffered for over 15 years. In hindsight, I wish I'd had it done years ago now.
Great to hear! I have slight phimosis and a short frenulum. I have some sort a surgery in 2 weeks. I can choose circumcision or frenuloplasty. I worry if I choose frenuloplasty, and the surgeon cuts and frees up my frenulum, will my total problem be solved? Because a tight foreskin will still be a challenge to retract during an erection, and okay during flaccidy. Once the skin is behind the glans, I wonder will it be another challenge to get it covered back over it? Some men's forums say that the stitching scar alongside their former frenulum caused pain during erections when stretched for growth. Those guys had to go back to their surgeon and get a full circumcision for remedy... But I understand the fact that a frenuloplasty Op preserves the intactbforeskin and nerve system, where sensation should not be lossed, and when the skim covers the head during flaccidy, moisture and delicacy can maintain and persevere. So, I'm just analytically contemplating and weighing all options
Posted in other topic but here your go
Although it realy is a case by case basis I would say don’t do it. I am 49 and had mine done close to 3 months ago. I hope I’m still in the early stages and things will get better but like one said above I may be in denial. What are some things I have noticed different? Sex feels different, the best way to describe it is as if I wore two condoms and tried to have sex. When you do not have enough feeling it become difficult to maintain a erection. That the second thing I noticed.
The last thing is the scar, do research and find what process they will use on you. Mine was done very close to the glands and I still have a raider and bumpy scar line.
Cosmetically looks ok but the intense feeling of joy is gone.
On a positive note, I do last three time as long in bed
Good luck on your decision
I had mine done for medical reasons and to be honest I think feeling was better before. I agree with a previous post in that it can be difficult to maintain an erection, and more to the point, more difficult to get hard again. Think carefully.
Before reading any other replies, I must tell you that directly after healing, sensation is intense almost to the point of sensual pain - rather like accidentally hitting your humerus (funny bone).
But this will eventually subside until your permanently exposed glans (without its protective foreskin) looses sensation incrementally as each month passes by - leaving you with a crippled penis like mine.

You will never be the same its so not worth it, There is nothing wrong with an intact man. My wife and I daily wish I was never cut. I have to be way to rough just to climax, there is no sensation and I only hurt her she can not enjoy sex with me due to it.
