Hi - 45 yo male , very overweight (if it matters) here.
A couple of years back, I noticed a drop in sensation when peeing. Now, when I pee, I dont feel it and have to look for drips / shake a lot. If I dont concentrate, then after I tuck him back in, I create a wet patch. I have taken to dabbing with tissue and extra caution, but wanted to know - is this normal for us all as we age?

I’m 10 years older than you and have never had any such issues or heard of them either. It might be related to your weight I suppose. Maybe worth getting a referral to a urologist?
Try pressing on the perinium to encourage more urine to exit. If you do that several times after the stream stops, you should be able to empty the urethra and stop the leakage afterward.
