Bad smell from penis. What do you think did I have?

My wife gave birth three months ago with cesarean section, so we didn't have any sex since, as she is recovering. I was so busy and tired lately that I didn't even have any time or desire to masturbate, so I didn't ejaculate at all for about three weeks. After that I started noticing bad smell coming from my penis, like 2 hours after shower I would smell like I didn't wash for 2 days.

I went to see the doctor and they said probably I had infection prescribed me antibiotics which I was taking for 2 weeks, and it didn't help at all. One day I masturbated and luckily I noticed that after that next day I didn't have any smell. So I started to ejaculate at least each 1-2 days and the bad smell is gone. Do you think this could have been the reason, and I didn't have any infection and took antibiotics for nothing?

Doesn’t sound like anything serious ... maybe some type of infection, if it’s gone now i wouldn’t worry too much
