Im 5 days after a circumcision and it’s still painful and swollen is this normal?

Should it look like this?

Looks okay to me, the swelling should go down over the next week or so, have your experienced any bleeding recently?

What about sensativity of the head?

Yes quite sensitive around the head especially when wearing boxers or pj’s....so this is all quite normal then? How long does it take to heal

I’m still healing myself. I was told by my surgeon that swelling (like shown in your picture) usually takes 2 weeks or so on average to go down. As long as it’s not heavily bleeding or infected (which yours isnt) you should be fine.

Seems alright. Swelling may take weeks to go away. Give it time

I’m on Day 5 and looks very similar to yours. I think it’s gradually going down but the swelling makes it difficult to urinate as it’s hard to take control of the penis and the urine seems to come out higher than it used it. I’ve had to go sitting down. Do you have that problem?

Hi mate yes I’m having to sit down too although I have to lean as the pee is that fast and high pressure it comes out the gap under the toilet seat lol this is day 7 for me now.

Yeah same problem! Hope it sorts itself out. I think the swelling may be affecting the pressure. Glad to know I’m not the only one. Lol!

I thought I was the only one and it looked weird smaller I was panicking etc but being on here we are all going through the same thing...keep me posted and I’ll do the same
