White bumps where hairs grow

After trimming/shaving my pubes where the shaft begins, I notice these white spots are more prominent now... they dont hurt or itch or anything, just visually sitting on my skin. I have a feeling it is my hair follicles? I notice they appeared ever since I hit puberty and dont have any STD's.

And these white spots are where my pubes grow, the beginning of my shaft and side but no where else.

Would anyone know what these are?
