Hello,I am a 18 yr old male and just got circumcised few days ago because of my too tight foreskin. I am really afraid that sex is not good with circumcised penis because of losing of sensitivity. I've been reading some stories of men that got circumscised and they say that the sex is much less enjoyable . Is this true or is it just placebo?

Your penis glans is going to be less sensitive. So the difference is, you will still orgasm just like you did before but its gonna take longer which your partner will be glad about

Sometimes it can be more intense. Because you become less sensitive you can last longer which sometimes increases the feeling.

No, definately not a lot less enjoyable. In fact at first it felt better. But now I find I miss that feeling of the foreskin moving over the head. Before, I could have a nice sensation of the foreskin being stroked and that feeling would intensify as the 'touch' reached the head. That feeling has now gone.

Another issue I have now, and it may be physiclogical, I have to be more gentle with masturbating and I am a bit nervous when my wife takes ahold, as it where ? This is generally not a problem, but on occasion if I lose my erection during sex, whereas before a quick 'wank' would have me hard again I do not feel comfortable doing it so vigorously.

That is an issue I may ask others for advice in the future.

Hi Lukaz, I got circumcised at 17 yo also because of a too tight foreskin. My experience is that sex and even masturbation are better after my circumcision. My penis head is still very sensitive because I daily put a moisturizer on it (shea butter or jojoba oil). I'm glad I'm circumcised. It's so much better now.

Yeah, I visited a psychologist and she said that sex is going to be worse only because of placebo(if you convince yourself it gets worse) and that foreskin being the crucial part is bullshit. You really can't believe anyone on the internet haha. Thanks for the tip, definitely will try it out!

Sex isn’t just physical it’s also mental, yeah you’ve lost a little bit of physical feeling but the mental feeling is still there.

It really doesn't make a difference unless you convince yourself. Look up hysterical pregnancies-its a thing where woman convinces herself she is pregnant and the belly starts growing, she gets labor and everything but nothing comes out. Im giving you this example to show you the power of your mind. All the people that are writing these anti-circumcision stories convinced themselves that sex isnt good without foreskin.

It's going great, thanks for asking. So you are reccomending shea butter? How often are you using it?

I use shea butter because it's safe and a great moisturizer, but I'm sure there are plenty of other moisturizers. Only make sure they're safe. I rub it on my glans twice a day, once before I'm going to sleep and once after taking a shower.
