Penis SHAFT heavily swollen after circumcision - dry, flaky skin after swelling went down, is this normal

Hi guys, new here, so please tell if I left out anything.

Ok, as per title, I had a circumcision about 2.5 weeks ago, due to phimosis.

I had a LOT of swelling due to an infection which inflated my penis shaft a lot. Now the swelling has gone down and I am left with dry, flaky skin on my penis shaft which is slightly pinkish as well??? Is this normal? I heard people who have lots of swelling get dry, flaky skin but did anyone else get the same thing? The skin is almost shiny/metallic now.

This has been an exacerbated by itchy scrotum following a yeast infection I got from a course of antibiotics!

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Hi,

I'm using canesten right now just to test - going to use for the next two weeks (without cortisone as it causes red scrotum syndrome/thinning penis)

My main query though is the dryness/flaking - is it caused by the severe swelling I had before?

I had way worse swelling than this at the start. The residual swelling now is nothing like it used to be.

Also, how long does it take for swelling to resolve fully? Will the dry and stretched/shiny skin resolve over time? Has anyone experienced this problem
