I have ringworm

I've been working for a veterinary clinic in Texas for more than 3 years. Recently, I noticed some painful and itchy rashes on my palms and especially between my fingers. My doctor diagnosed me with ringworm and said that I might become infected with the tinea fungus found in dogs. Then he prescribed me Clotrimazole and asked me to apply it 2-3 times a day. This cream worked for awhile and then it came back with a vengence. Is there anything else out there that can make it go away for good.
