When should I do away with the gauze and the repetitive dressing?am on day 8 after op.should I keep dressing the area or leave it air dry? I get the occasional spot bleeding from the unwanted boners ofcos around the stitches.
Am worried about the unforgiving sensitivity tho like every body else.

If you experience sensitivity pain that's bearable without dressing then it should be fine to stop wearing it by now. However if youre getting discharge from the cut then it could be bad going bare as if it dries to your boxers the stitches could get pulled away. I've got this thing called manhood that's like an artificial foreskin that I'm wearing right now as sensitivity is unbearable.
Yes it technically lengthens the process however what I do considering I cant cope with the full force when not wearing something that eliminates friction is I wear it constantly besides twice a day in which I'll take it off and apply lube to the head and then rub the head with my index finger. It hurts like a bitch for the first 5 minutes but you instantly notice the pain dissapear after. However the next time you do it the pain comes back, so you just gotta keep doing it as often as possible untill you don't have to use lube and you can do it bare.
When I got circumcised I had the dressing on the night after my op the next morning it was off, I had wee’d all over it. The sooner it’s off the sooner it will start to heal.
To get it off run a shallow bath and sit in it for 5 minuets soak the bandage and it will pull straight off.
It will feel very uncomfortable at first so don’t wear anything down there let the air get it and nature will take its cause.
Also be patient as you’ve left it on a week the healing process will take longer and there’s a good chance it’s infected so it’s best to keep a look out for the wound weeping, throbbing or bleeding.
The night time erections will be extremely painful for a week also but it all gets better with time 👍 good luck
