There is no definite rule regarding ejaculation of sperm . It all depends if one wants to ejaculate either by having sex or masturbating. However some people release sperm while sleeping without their knowledge, which is not an abnormality. Sometimes they dream of sex. I have heard from my friends and seen also among my friends, but I never had it .

I have found on occasion if I have sex or masturbate frequently in a short space of time the amount reduces. Even to the point where I can climax with no ejaculation.

If you don't want to loose it, then use it ! In short - once or twice per week. I wish however I did not suffer from the guilt imposed by the society of the time 60 years ago on male masturbation.

I seem to remember seeing an article which advised 21 ejaculations per month.
