Post circumcision query

This might seem a bit premature to start worrying but it's been 3 days since my circumcision and - facing down on the penis, the back of it is really swollen and looks dried, I had to have the dressing taken off in the hospital too, so can anyone clarify if this is normal?

Sounds perfectly normal. Try some Vaseline on the dry parts to keep them moist. Swelling is usual as it heals.

Thanks but I don't know about touching it yet as it is really sore
