Prolonged arousal and glans irritation

Hi fellas,

I have an odd one here. I've had a period lately of being in a state of arousal for long stretches during the day. Weirdly I seem to be constantly horny since I had the snip, though that may just be coincidence.

Anyway, In the last few days I noticed that the glans of my penis is a bit red with what looks like a faint, uniform bumpy rash on it. I've also noticed a bit of smegma below the ridge.

I'm convinced it's not on STI because I've only had sex once in the last two months and that's with my wife (my only sexual partner for 16 years).

So I guess my question is, "can us get naturally occurring glans inflammation from prolonged periods of arousal where you have the glans covered in pre-ejaculate (with foreskin) without then having sex to clear things away?

The arousal could be a subconscious thing, knowing you are free to have sex without the faf of a condom ? Dunno, but the rash could be thrush. Long shot I know, but all those years ago when I had the snip I suffered something similar. It turned out my Wife had thrush but was not showing any symptoms. So when we had sex without the condom I became infected. You could see Doc or try over the counter treatment such as Canestan or similar. But you will both need to be treated at the same time to avoid re-infection. Good luck.
