Over the last week I have been waking up and I'm soaking in sweat bed clothes soaked sometimes twice a nite

Sometimes, only SOMETIMES, sweating like this at night mat indicate some pathologies, inflammatory or tumoral, typically chronic infection such as tuberculosis, or lymphoma. Have you other symptoms? therefore: Do not panic, but go to your doctor in order to see if he think a good idea to undergo some examinations.

I would also encourage you to go to the doctors if it's still persisting. It could and probably will be nothing bud. If there are no other symptoms then bonus if there are make sure you tell your doctor all of them!
