Obviously nobody can diagnose from a short forum post but as a rule, it's best to get anything like this checked out either with your GP or by calling 111.

Write to your doctor and ask to be checked for cancer . If you wrote this down in a letter it's a very effective tool as it can't be ignored or sidelined. Do that today to start the ball rolling . It very possibly isn't cancer but good to get this checked .you are in control of your health so be assertive . Ring up the next day if you haven't had a reply . Obviously leave your address and mobile number in the letter .. Making it easy for the GP to contact you quickly . Do mention that you think it could be cancer . It seems once you say that ... It won't be ignored . If it is change doctors but give him/ her a chance . It's obviously giving you anxiety so that needs addressing for you anyway . Trust this helps and good health .
