Hello! Thought would do another diary entry, now 7 weeks! Just as reminder I was cut on UK NHS due to having phimosis when erect only.
So how has the last week? We’re slowly getting there and a huge week in recovery. One major issue I have had was due to swelling and I still had a considerable covering when soft and one think in my previous diary entries was keeping it clean. I spoke with my GP last Tuesday about when I got erect could I run a boots wound wipe round to remove the final bits of gunk still down there. I could and that was a game changer. By Tuesday evening my head was out even soft and I thought maybe that was coincidence but no for the rest of the week it stayed like that, the new normal is beginning. Of course, that means now I have to get used to it touching pants and rubbing on stuff more but hey, that’s what was always gonna be the case with the op.
I could get full erections without it being tight or painful and have to say without blowing trumpet it was looking good. Those worrying about size reduction, I assume you hasn’t affected mine, if anything it looks bigger. Can also now see scar line and everything and definitely no stitches there anymore. There was a big wobble in the week where I thought a stitch returned, as silly as this sounds. I spoke to NHS 111 and this they said was impossible to return and was probably just a product of healing scar tissue and by next morning it was gone. I still have that ring swelling between the scar line and head of the penis and under frenulum, hopefully that subsides soon, it’s not necessarily painful more causing twinges and uncomfortable when rubs stuff.
By Wednesday my GP had cleared my scar and everything to be strong enough to return to sex and masturbation, did I immediately? No. I was very nervous about disrupting it. However….saturday morning I finally plumped up the courage and after 6 weeks and 5 days after surgery I finally did. For those who are early in recovery and can’t trust me the wait is gonna be worth it, it felt like a reward for getting to this point in recovery. I didn’t notice any further swelling or discomfort, that may be because tbh I didn’t last long at all so not much time to disrupt but who knows. I haven’t done since but now know I can I’m sure won’t be long…

Just want to give a huge shout out to those on here who have supported me to this stage and had to deal with me being silly and overthinking every wobble, I won’t say directly who but I’m sure you’ll know who you are, really couldn’t have done it without so thanks! But on whole, another really successful week and long may it continue now in next few weeks getting used to this new normal
