LondonB is onto it. Vaseline is really a barrier ointment to reduce chafing and stop irritation. It's not really a moisturiser.You should try and find a sensitive skin moisturiser (without odour etc) to help repair the skin as LondonB suggests.

Do you know why your head has grooves etc? Are you wearing pants that irritate it or trousers that are too tight?

Slinky synthetic or microfibre pants without seams are less irritating for circumcised men. Cotton pants can cause chafing.

During the night, do you go give yourself plenty of room by wearing boxers rather than tight-fitting briefs or trunks?
