Penis inflammation doesn't go away - continuation

4 months ago my dermatologist made a mistake of prescribing Pimafucort for my penis glans. It caused a strong inflammation, which ceased to some extent in about 3 weeks. However, there is still a slightly red, painful area on my glans. It hurts when I touch it or when I pull my foreskin. It also hurts when my penis is getting larger, but when it is already fully erect, it doesn't.

I haven't noticed any improvement in the last 3 months and it made me worried, so I went to an other dermatologist. She prescribed Cicatridine that is available over the counter.

Later I also learned that Pimafucort should never have been used for penis glans.

My only question is whether Cicatridine is a safe choice for penis glans and if it can cause any harm or side effects. I am double-checking after the last time when a doctor made a big mistake.

Thank you in advance :)

most medications have the possibility of causing side effects - but not everyone gets them! You could talk to your pharmacist about any possible side effects for the new cream you have been advised to use.
