Strange Foreskin Texture, could it be Balanitis?

The texture of my foreskin is wrinkly and when pulled back looks like stretch marks. When erect it has a shinyness/scaly look to it. The shaft and base of penis are a normal texture. I don't have any itchiness, pain, soreness, etc. It's just a visual issue. I'm a virgin and not had oral so I haven't caught it off anyone. The glans I think are fine so idk if it's balanitis.

What do you mean by “stretch marks “?

I hope you have arranged to consult your GP. It is unlikely to be balanitis as it would present usually with soreness. It may be as simple as dry skin but could also be lichen sclerosis - which could be serious.

I'll make sure to this week. Any advice on psyching myself up for it? I can barely get a hair cut (social anxiety) lol. I would have made one by now but I live in a town with a small doctors office where they mostly treat elderly. I doubt they've seen similar stuff to my issue.

Write down the questions you want to ask, at least if you get really embarrassed or not able to ask, your doctor will be able to read them, put it in your head that doctors have seen it all before and for the sake of a few minutes of embarrassment you will put your mind at ease

Doctors have seen everything. Maybe first time stripping off is uncomfortable, but not afterwards. That’s certainly my experience.
