Maximum weeks/months for hypersensitivity to subside?

My second post here

I got op via zsr around 5 weeks ago, ring finally fell off 4 days ago.

My question is, my glans and the skin below it is very sensitive to touch. Moreover the skin above incision is also bit sensitive and gives a jolt if I touch it directly. Incision doesn't hurt, wound is healed completely.

Since my ring fell off few days back, I started to put my penis in warm water, give it slight touch and then apply coconut oil twice a day.

I can feel my glans getting dry/rough with tree bark like patches being formed when flaccid. That part is comparatively less sensitive and I am assuming that's what keratinization looks like?

Fair to say, my sensitivity is dropping.

However that's only on upper part, the tip is most sensitive and gives a shock if I touch it.

For now, I am still putting it under a cotton cap and then tape it up before wearing underwear.

Some people suggest not to use bandage or gauze and let it grin, but I am nowhere near that mark as I still need to desenesitize.

So in brief, I want to know how much maximum weeks it may take to get it normal and there will be no hypersensitivity to touch/cloth.

I am taking it slow, and technically, its been a week after I started to put water and touch it slowly.

I am ok with few more weeks but just wanna know the average duration for sensitivity to die out.

Also lmk any better way to reduce it faster.

Regards

For sooner the desensitization process you need to rub your glans often aka masturbate by rubbing directly your glans. That's a better technique.
