Hi guys, Im 37 and in 17th January had a circumcision, I had a quit bad Phimosis, and I never see the head before. I had a very bad over-sensitivity in my whole life.
After the surgery it was really painful, I couldn't walk normally, and it was like an open wound. After 2 weeks my doctor allowed to water it, but it wouldnt possible to touch it or just wear any clothes. My solution for sleeping was to put a breakfast tray that can be used in bed over me and then I could use a blanket. Even after two months, the sensitivity did not reach the point where I could touch it, and the stitches came out completely only after 2.5 months.
What surprised me it was the continuous peeling on the head and the fact that the sensitivity did not decrease further. The swelling kept going down, but the pain was constant. Anyway, it didn't itch, normally if there was nothing to touch it wasn't any wrong with it, I didn't feel any problem.
A new doctor told me, it could be fungal infection, maybe a yeast, which does not allow the skin to strengthen, so I was given Pimafucort cream. With the help of this, I can now touch it after a week, it doesn't hurt, just a strange feeling. It worked wonders for me!
I didn't even regret the surgery at the beginning, because my previous complaints disappeared immediately, but now I'm really happy! I'm not at the end of my recovery, but I'd do it again without a word.
My advice to anyone who is about to undergo surgery is that the first few days are the hardest, after that everything will be much better. If painful hypersensitivity persists, you should definitely see a dermatologist. There is a situation where time alone does not help, you have to ask for help!
