I’m 5 weeks post op and I’ve noticed one side of my penis is healing well and looks normal but on the other side there seems to be excess skin sticking out and folding up under the head. This area was initially swollen up the first fews week after the op but now that’s gone down it’s just left baggy skin.
Anyone had the same thing? Will this tighten up over time? I’m worried I’ll need more surgery!

I had kind of the same thing after my Pollock circumcision. At first it looked like it was swelling more on the one side. But after the swelling went down, it more or less evened itself out. Now, after 21 months, it is barely visible that there is a little more skin on one side.
hi all, just seen this post from a year ago. I have just had mine done about 3 weeks ago and experiencing the same problem. Do you have an update on your situation?
Yeah I was one of the unfortunate ones where the surgeon did in fact leave excess skin. I had revision done 3 months after the initial surgery. Pretty brutal having to go through the whole process again.
Thanks for the update. Hope all went well. My excess skin is rising up about half way up the glans. Is there a way to tell whether this is just swelling or the same problem you experienced?
I would say after about 6-8 weeks if things aren’t looking right go back to the surgeon. It’s nearly been a year since I had my revision and it looks fine now.
I was kinda lucky that he was able to just to cut that side of the excess skin in stead of cutting all the way round again.
