I am 27 and have a severe phimosis. I am planning to get circumcision surgery in a few days but really scared. Is there any one who can advise me how to get prepared? And aftercare ideas.

If you are a grower, tell your surgeon to make sure he leaves some skin to give you room to reach your full erection potential.
Your penis is going to be plump for a few days until swelling goes down. You will have to wear a gauze around your penis all day and night because it will be very uncomfortable to the touch. This will last for a few weeks. Anything that rubs against your penis will hurt. The stitches will naturally dissolve and/or fall out over time. No exercise for at least a couple of weeks. No sex for at least 3 months or when you feel totally healed. Night erections are going to hurt. You may end up being able to pee very far for a few days and your stream may go in 2 or more directions. This will resolve itself over a couple of weeks or so. And you're going to find yourself looking at your penis a lot and wondering if everything/anything is normal or not.
I was curious to see how others are doing after 3-4 months since I healed. Saw your post and felt compelled to respond.
Be careful when taking the bandage off post surgery. Don't rush it. Hopefully it doesn't adhere to the skin like mine did. Ask your surgeon to use vaseline so it doesn't stick bad. Try warm water and soaking it a bit before taking it off.
If at any point you start to bleeding, get some tissues and apply pressure to where it's bleeding. It should stop after a couple minutes.
Morning erections are going to hurt very bad. Don't think about things that get you excited. I actually ended up watching horror films in the morning to help.
After 1 week or so, the game-changer for me was realising despite the pain from touching due to hypersensitivity, I was able to handle my penis. The game-changer was wrapping my penis in gauze and then tying a knot with bandage to hold it in place. Put some germolene on the gauze. After wearing bandages again I was able to walk around.
