looking to hear from guys who have been circumcised as an adult for cosmetic reasons. Do you regret it? Do you wish you would have gotten it done sooner? How was your recovery process? Did you get the frenulum removed? What type of cut did you get? I’ve been wanting to get circumcised for a while now but a little scared to go under the knife.

I had mine done at 48, 4 years ago. Not regretted it as I had a short foreskin and a tight frenulum so had problems pulling skin all the way back without causing frenulum breve.

Only minor regret was not checking the type of cut that I was going to get. Surgeon gave me a low cut and didn’t leave a bit of skin under the frenulum so feels like it is pulling scrotum skin at the base of penis up the shaft when erect.

Sex and masturbation feels wonderful! I also prefer the look of a cut penis and it is more hygienic.

Whether it’s for you, you need to decide for yourself as I can’t really say you should go for it. But I have no regrets of having it done.

The original poster asked for input from “guys who have been circumcised as an adult for cosmetic reasons. ” Clearly, your circumcision was done for medical reasons and so your satisfaction with the surgery is directly tied to the results in treating a medical condition that was admittedly giving you “problems.” You are comparing apples and oranges and your response does not fit the premise of the OP’s question.

I did not once but twice for cosmetic and pleasure purpose, although have issues with my foreskin. I did got my frenulum removed just before my second circumcision. After all men no need foreskin during intercourse. Now my penis is zero skin movement, lube is a must for solo performance. I never regrets about it. In fact I love that, the permanently all exposed glans. Orgasm is 1000×'s intense after cut if I compare it before cut. I used to retract since the age 14 kinda or at least I started masturbating. I'm willing to get circumcision from a medical practitioner for non medical reasons. Is it ok,Or do I need to consult an urologist ,I'm a 34 yr male.married and my frenum was torn.will it cause severe bleeding or pain after the surgery.Do we need to wear rings prior to surgery?

Glad you consider to get rid off your foreskin. For a better sex, pleasure, I would say, that, your consideration is a lot awesome. In my opinion, circumcision is the best thing a men can do for himself to taste the peak of pleasure. So yeah. For the urologist part, you better check if the urologist have any experience or not. Many guys, even in my case I ended with twice surgery as my first circumcision person have did a bad job where a lot excessive skin left. So I have to opt for second time for an extreme tight cut( my personal opinion and experience, extreme tightness gives me very,very intense orgasm). So yeah, better check, even if that urologist have 10 year service experience, do your research about the person/ doctor.

Mine the issue is lengthy foreskin preventing successful sexual intercourse. It accumulates behind the glans.Im having premature evacuations as well.So,I thought it will resolve my issues. 😥

I had a cosmetic circumcision as an adult. My only regret is I didn't do it sooner. Much prefer it for looks and hygiene and I get complimented by partners. But I appreciate whether the circumcised penis is 'best' is a subjective opinion depending on a range of factors, not least the societal norms in your community and it's a bit psychological, too! I was cut at 36. It looks good and I’m glad I did it. Frenulum is still intact. Not gonna lie, it did feel better with foreskin and was more sensitive, however, the difference is really minimal. It feels great both with and without foreskin.

Healing/Recovery? Ya it’s sucks. It was a tough 8 weeks especially with night time erections but you get through it. It’s looks horrible during recovery so don’t panic and know your body will heal it up with time!

I got cut last year for cosmetic reasons and am very happy. Looks better, feels great and recovery was actually fine. Just night time erections were painful. Otherwise no bother. And the outcome is such an improvement for me personally. Moderate tight, low cut with frenulum removed. Message me if you want to know more.

I was circumcised 9 months ago. I have peyronies ( bend in penis) & was advised this might make sex more comfortable. It certainly has! Both for me & my wife.

I have noticed the scar is stretching down the shaft lately but this isnt an issue. At 1st it was almost invisible just behind the glans.

I had my frenulum removed at same time as it kept tearing.

Had my done for cosmetic reasons when I was in my late 20’s (now I’m my late 40’s). It was done under general anesthetic didn’t have much pain or issues. I have a low cut, with a scar line that I don’t like to much, and my frenulum was completely cut off which I’m also really upset about. As for regretting it yes, for me there has been a steady lose of sensation over the years.
