looking to hear from guys who have been circumcised as an adult for cosmetic reasons. Do you regret it? Do you wish you would have gotten it done sooner? How was your recovery process? Did you get the frenulum removed? What type of cut did you get? I’ve been wanting to get circumcised for a while now but a little scared to go under the knife.

circumcised as an adult
Hi. Yes I went for it a few years back.
Really positive move for me in many ways.
Zero regrets and it comes with many health benefits.
Was circumcised when I was 20 years old. 64 now and it has been totally positive for me.
I take it, that since you asked exactly the same question 6 months ago, you remain undecided?
If you are on any doubt, don’t proceed. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Though patient persistent restoration may be possible.
I was in the same position as you. Some anxiety. Had it done some years ago and absolutely no regrets and yes, should have done it earlier. Frenulum intact. Reasonably high and tight.
I was circumcised at age 39 in June 2020. I suffered from phimosis.
My problem is resolved. I have no regrets. It wasn't for cosmetic reasons, but I do see that the women I have been with like it better. Hygiene is much easier now.
I was so satisfied with the results, I got vasectomized 2 years later by the same urologist. Still no regrets.
Before you consider getting circumcised, please look at the many posts on this site. You will see that, while some have a good outcome, many men have problems following the procedure.
Your last statement sums it all up— scared to go under the knife. So you’re NOT definite about wanting to get circumcised. You must have the mindset that you’re absolutely decided to get it done. You will NEVER be satisfied if you have doubts about getting cut. Realize that you are making a permanent change to an important part of your body and there’s no going back if you have second thoughts.
35 and was clipped almost 3 weeks ago. It's healing, had a brief infection that was treated with antibiotics. First few days are pretty rough. Once I started showering exposed the head to hot water and that drastic sped up the desensitization, which is good. I can walk around with no discomfort and have been able to since a week after the clip.
Honestly though, I'm not sure if it's bc i'm healing or not but boners still hurt and I've lost an inch. Apparently the inch I might get back, which is a little alarming.
My foreskin wouldn't pull back and would get little rips on the top. I felt like I should get it done now rather than risk complications when I'm an old man. My surgeon was good, I was made unconscious for the operation and given tylenol3 following the operation. Take the tylenol before bad and it will probably help you from waking up with the most painful boner you've ever had.
I'll have to ask about the cut, I think I'm low and tight, so the stitch line is right near the head of my penis. My doctor is young, he said he'd take care of me. I'll report back with the results in a few weeks. If I end up losing an inch I'll be pissed, but there's a good chance it stretches out more.
My frenulum is intact, that area is extremely tight and hurts the most w the boners.
I was cut 18 years ago, love the result, getting frenulum removed next week
Go for it! I love being circumcised. I recommend having it really tight with full frenulum removal. I love being like that.
I got circumcised for largely cosmetic reasons 20 years ago now. Haven't regretted it for a nanosecond. I found it was a confidence boost and an ambition achieved, presumably like other guys get a tattoo. Don't let fear of the procedure get in the way of what you want. If you book a dedicated circ clinic you will be in safe hands .
