Circumcision Surgery!

It’s happening! After more than a few months of discomfort with both physically and emotionally exhausting symptoms, I saw the urology Consultant yesterday, and I’m being scheduled for surgery (circumcision).

Going into the appointment, I think I knew what the outcome would be, and I was right. That said, it didn’t make hearing the outcome any easier.

I know there are people out there with a lot more serious and debilitating medical conditions than myself, but I won’t deny it …… I’m more than a bit anxious - I’m terrified. I don’t think it’s quite sunk in yet that there’s an end in sight (and a fair bit of discomfort ahead), but at least I now know what’s happening!

So glad you got the appointment and finally got some clarity on what your options are - I know you’ve been suffering for some time!

This group is a great place for support and I’m sure you’ll have many offers of help and support for that difficult three weeks of recovery. And with that help - you’ll get through this buddy and be fixed in no time!!
