Circumcision fast approaching

Hi, I’m a little over 1 week away from getting my surgery, I am 40 and developed a tight foreskin in my 30’s, I believe I’ve made up my mind as to the style I’m going for, I want to get a high and tight, from what I’ve seen and heard here it produces the best aesthetic outcome and for the most part since they retain more inner foreskin most guys seem to enjoy it a lot. I’ve stopped taking aspirin as my Dr. recommended I stop at least a full week before surgery. I’m nervous but excited at the outcome.

I hope your surgery goes well and that you will be pleased at the result. It will be good for you to get rid of the tightness.

Beat of luck mate. Beat decision I've ever made at 18

good luck mate. we are in the same 40s club.

eat well and sleep well will be a good preparation.

Just to manage your expectations, your circumcision is being done for medical reasons to remove the restriction which will in itself determine where the scar line will be. You haven't described how tight your foreskin is and if you cannot retract at all then the surgeon will not be able to perform a high cut at all. If you haven't already discussed this then be prepared.

I can retract, it causes pain when I do it while erect, my Dr. is confident a High and Tight can be achieved.

OK, here’s hoping you get a good outcome.

BTW In your original post, what advice are seeking from this forum?

Anything that will make recovery easier.

Good luck man. I got cut at 40 and all went well. Pm me if you want to discuss.

Hopefully the procedure goes well and you’ll be back home recovering before you know it. I’m in my 30s and started developing Foreal I’m tightness a few years ago while I was erect. My doctor recommended a circumcision, which I got done over 5 weeks ago. I’m pretty much fully healed and I am completely happy with my decision. I was nervous about getting it done but now I just wish I got it done sooner. Best of luck!

Good luck mate, hope all goes well for you. I'm looking at the high and tight option when I get mine done.

hey man, 2 weeks in myself and I am very happy with the outcome. decent bit of swelling gone down, uneven parts leveled out and showing a clear path to recovery. no need to worry. circumcision is a minor surgery but the skill of the doctor is important. a consultant might not handle a circumcision as it is too minor a surgery. but a skilled doctor who handles a clinic for circumcision specifically might be more experienced in this and will provide the best cosmetic result.

According to her nurse, this is a procedure my Urologist performs every single day, I’m hopeful that means she is familiar with patients wants and needs.
