Phimosis potentially linked to cancer

I don't want to be alarmist but personally I wasn't aware of this issue and I think I might have taken action sooner had I known.

To explain - I struggled with phimosis for years - stretching and steroid cream - but didn't get it checked out medically until earlier this year when I had a sore under the foreskin and it became impossible to retract the foreskin at all.

I got circumcised 7 weeks ago and it turns out the sore was cancer

It seems I may have got lucky as so far there is no sign that the cancer has spread so the circumcision may have sorted it out. More tests coming up just in case!

Yesterday I asked the consultant what could have caused the cancer and he said it was more than likely the phimosis (but it could also be HPV)

Maybe others are aware of this link but I wasn't and I thought I would share what I was told.

Hi Man that is very true I'm glad to hear that you have got it sorted and got the cancer early it must of been a shock to hear that news. you should be farley well healed up by now after the circumcision? Cancer can indeed develop there so it's very important to get checked out as soon as you notice any changes. It's so important to be able to retract your foreskin and clean every day.

any guy with phimosis needs to be aware of the risks of cancer and to be very vigilant.

HPV has been proven to cause cancer. It comes from unprotected sex with an infected partner.

Incredibly important for individuals to be vaccinated against HPV when becoming sexually active.

Before my Circ' the GP suspected Cancer which was why I was rushed through the system. Turned out to be 'Zoon's Ballanitis' .But I would advise any one if things look abnormal and don't go away after a week or so, then go see your Doc'. Better safe.

Glad you got it before it got you! The conclusion of this paper speaks volumes of how the USA has no real knowledge of Male penile care over the UNCUT western countries. The USA needs to get with it tho, I am one of tens of thousands if not more that have fully restored our 4skins and in doing so have been led to the wealth of knowledge Males in Europe know and the American Males do not. Unkept 4skins can lead to a number of illnesses, even up to the rarest of cancers- and tight 4skin has "matter of fact" methods to correct in Europe with our removing the 4skin and have for years, some are finally being offered in the USA to loosen-re-grow skin to loosen the hood and avoid your situation. The conclusion speaks volumes on how the USA is not in the know. Cultural hygiene seems to dictate this rare cancer's prevalence and yet just teaching 4skin hygiene seems to be the best working answer. ONLY ONCE did I get the "cheese" from just being too busy to check under the "hood" and it was for just a few days and I got a huge irritation under my hood so I can imagine having a tight 4skin and its ability to continually cause this to the point that more serious conditions could arise.

surgery that is not offered openly by US doctors, REAL surgical video on UTUBE surgeon in India showing the full operation that is also done openly in Europe that negates full circumcism: youtube.com/c/PlasticSurgeo...

frontiersin.org/articles/10..., plain and clear source for Penile cancer, Europe vs USA

Best thing to do as an intact male- good, daily hygiene

an note on stretching to skin growth: Folks in teh USA are INSTANT GRATIFICATION , it taked consistancy and time to grow skin to be permanant- Foreskin restorers are terrible at this in the USA, I restored in under 13 mounts n 2009, all day m thru fri and rested SAT-SUN every week, every month! It works, teh science of Skin Expansion has been in use for over 75yr by plastic surgery so if stretching fails, it probably is not the methods that are tried adn true, and you do not need to buy these methods, there are manual strateches that work,..., jusst not as fast.
