Got circumcised 2 days ago the pain and swelling is unbearable struggling to do anything and even sleep anyone know how long I will feel like this. It’s so sore and sensitive can’t have anything on or even touching it in the slightest is this normal. Took the dressing off tried putting a new one on covered in Vaseline and the pain is just so unbearable when touching against it I’m having to leave it out loose I really don’t know what to do.

*Eat vegetarian, fruits..
* Maximum time rest and take care of urself for first 5 days
* Dont watch any movies related to romance or sex.. unknowingly it will give erection in sleep ,it will be more painful again
*Listen to this music and just observe ur natural breathe in and out, your mind will calm down it will help in healing

Thanks I’ll give that a go but even naked with it touching on my skin the pain really unbearable having to hold it or support it to not touch anything I’m really struggling so this is normal
Trying my best to and just on pain killers at the moment thanks for advice.
It took me close to a week before I was able to sleep. Stay positive.
Wrap the penile shaft with a self adhesive compression wrap (e.g. 3M Coban 3”). Put this wrap over the gauze bandage. Will makes it a littler more secure and prevent the flipping and wrinkling that can cause pressure and pain in the wound. Also if your doctor has not prescribed a pain killer take a Tylenol (acetaminophen) and that should help dull the pain.
Thanks for advice and trying to help I’ve tried with the dressings but it just seems to make the the pain worse or is just way too unbearable to have anything touching it just hoping time will heal it and just let it hang loose but the wound doesn’t seem to healing and some stiches now bleeding just driving me crazy.
The penis head (glans) tend to be very sensitive if they were always fully covered before this procedure. What is usually recommended is to avoid keeping the penis dangling (free movement). It’s usually recommended to wear a snug (not loose) underwear - and to keep the penis up against your torso pointing to your belly button.
This helps because the front of the glans (penis head) is a large exposed area and will likely rub against your clothing as you walk and get around. Also the rubbing leads to uncontrollable erections which increases the sensation further - it’s a catch 22 situation. So you are more comfortable keeping it upwards and that also gives your penis space to grow for erections without causing discomfort at the most unexpected times and places.
And remember be patient. This was a small procedure but a significant change to your body. Give it time to heal. Healing properly can take between 3-8 months. Usually it’s recommended not to let your penis endure any physical trauma while its healing for the first 7-9 weeks - so it’s recommended to avoid yanking the shaft or indulging in penetrative sex for 7-9 weeks. Also you will have to reinvent how you stimulate yourself to attain orgasm (masturbate).
Thanks so much for the advice
You're definitely not on your own pal. I was the exact same. I am now nearing 3 weeks post op, sensitivity and pain has decreased a lot. Take it easy and I mean rest up in bed/ sofa for a few days. Doing this really made the difference for me.
Supporting the penis in bandages and a gauze will really help with Vaseline will help cushion the penis. You should be able to get some rest. If you shower when removing it VE careful the pressure and the water soaking the bandage will add weight and you don’t want the bandage to fall off and take the scabs etc with it I had glue and god dam when it slipped Jesus hell haha 😂 literally support the bandage if you shower again use jug full of salt warm water. Slowly peel the bandage and cut the excess bandage off and support the underside of the glans where the gauze will be located to protect the frenulum area.
Wish you the very best on your recovery
Same for me and now 10 days in. Some pus underneath and can't put anything near it. Hospital said it's fine
