Am seeing some swelling on one side after 4 weeks.

Am not worried yet but only inquisitive about the swelling one one side close to the incision,is this normal?

Yes it’s normal mate,I’m 6 weeks in and there’s still swelling under my frenulum and on the bottom left,I’ve started massaging bio oil into the swelling and healed wound site to stop it tightening up and help reduce the swelling.It can take up to a year for it all to go down,so patience and don’t worry too much.

Thanks mate, let me be patient. What of the stitches how long did they take to go away.

Someone else will have to answer that one for you,my doctor used glue which all came off by day 10…not sure about how long stitches take mate.

I'm coming up to 4 weeks and all my stitches are gone but it depends on what was used and how quickly your body absorbs them. Are you soaking in the bath yet? That's where the "tails" of mine came out

Well, am left with a few of them especially on the side where the swelling still exists close to the incision

My stitches fell of within 1 to 2 weeks. i’m at 5th week but also swollen
