Circumcised - The skin

Hey,

I was circumcised 1 week ago. No complications. Still have abit of sensitivity in the head but its alot more bareable than before. I was wondering... Im not sure if its normal but the doctor has taken some of the skin off from under the head (Pretty much were you would see the stitches) and i was looking to know if the skin will grow back just till it reaches the bottom of the head. This is the only part that is still sore and preventing me from wearing boxers again because its still cut...If so how long do you think it will take the grow back?

Apologises for my awful description as this is my first time posting on any forum about quite literally anything. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

You seem to be healing well and there does not appear to be any abnormality in the way you were circumcised. Take care.

hey how are you wearing boxers so early? i’m a month in and my sensetivity on the tip still kills when trying to wear boxers

Hey, Im not actually wearing any. My head is fairly sensitive just not as bad as before. The cut under the head of my penis is giving me the most trouble when i try to put boxers on. Thats why i was asking if that feeling goes away or if the skin grows back there to cover the flesh.

Hi, I had my circumcision 10 days ago and I can wear tight boxers if I'm going out but I usually put gauze bandage around the stitches so that they don't catch on anything. Everyone's level of sensitivity is different, but the more you expose it the faster it will desensitise.

crazy how you can wear boxers at day 10 i can’t wear boxers at all 5 weeks in it’s horrible pain, i can wear loose joggers tho any tips ??

I find wearing tight boxers after wrapping around the head with gauze fairly comfortable if I'm going out. I've been using vaseline underneath the gauze and replacing bandage everyday after washing because it helps with healing. I think my 'starting' sensitivity must not have been that high because after a couple of days and when the swelling went down a bit it wasn't excruciatingly painful to touch it was just uncomfortable, gets better everyday though I can pretty much touch everywhere on the head without pain apart from on the stitches.

Yeah sorry its ok. Was at the hospital on Wednesday there and found out the answer
