Weird smell

Hi again, so since the 1st day of my circ, there's this smell that smells weird, uhmmm its similar to the smell of an earwax, and when I first time cleaned it, I smelled the blood that I wiped, and yeah, it is indeed the blood, it's my day 10 right now and it still smells, it also has a yellowish red discharge but that one doesnt smell, any tips on how to remove the smell?

Yes I guess? Coz it's dripping down to the wounds at the back after I pee

No, and I do not have a doctor, it's this kind of a nurse?? Coz here in my country having a circumcision with a doctor is pretty rare since there are a lot of people who do circumcision since it is in our culture to get circumcised to be a "man" which is very wrong coz we are being forced to do it

Apologies for such your surgery to be forced on you not entirely fair. But listen monitor the penis any real concerns you should see a medical professional. But for now monitor it clean it daily twice a day quick showers are perfect or if you don’t have a shower use a jug of warm salt water around 2 jug fulls then one clean fresh water with no salt then dry straight away with a hair dryer preferably. Apply Vaseline as it will help cushion the penis and keep nasty stuff out of the wounds. I’d recommend you using bandages for your first week to two weeks as this really helps on my opinion and experience. Looking after the penis is very important especially in your recovery stages. Bad smells can usually be a sign of a infection etc but I don’t think you should be worrying as it could be other stuff causing it such as the lymph and urine dribbling down their whenever you pee if you can make sure you don’t dribble of you do use tissue or if your glans can handle it grab a clean fresh hand towel get warm clean water on the corner of the towel and dab the pee slit hole. Bandages can help to soak it up too but if your bandage soaks any pee up try to change the bandage or place extra clean bandages or a gauze in that area to protect the underside of the glans to prevent the pee going into your incision area.

Don’t PANIC REMEMBER KEEP YOUR PENIS CLEAN AND DRY this is very important and you should be perfectly fine my man. Twice a day wash it. Thank you so much for the tips! But for sure my father is going to be against with the consultation of the doctor since going to the doctor here when you did an circ is super super rare, they only go to a doctor when there is an exessive bleeding oe when the symptoms of an infection is getting worse, that's how bad the culture is here. Question about the vaseline, uhmm where do I put it, the wound area or the glans? And the salt bath, am I going to pour it or dip my penis into the mixture?

I understand mate sorry again about that but you’ve got this just keep it clean and dry and you should be good. When you are able to use moisturisers on your glans this is very important. Salt baths fill the bath up to fully submerge your penis fully in the bath not too hot or too cold just right don’t want to burn your penis or cause discomfort. Place table salt in the bath and soak it in there before getting out grab a jug full it up with salt water fresh clean water pour over the penis get out the bath fully then go dry it up and apply the Vaseline over the glans and wounds for up to 6 weeks you don’t need to do it for that long but definitely do it for the first 3-4 weeks until you feel it’s healed enough.

Once healed enough applying bio oil is a very good option helps fade the scar line and it really helps the glans stay nice and healthy holds in nice sensations as you don’t want the skin to go hard and dry out I mean it is a personal choice.

This bio oil, since it's an "oil" how do clean it since you know it's hard to clean an oil with water

The glans and your underwear should soak up the bio oil and you should be able to wash it easy with non perfume soap and a shower. Do not think about applying any bio oil or soap until you know your wounds are fully healed.

Could stain your underwear but you can get washing powered that removed tough stains

If going pee on incision wound don’t worry too much because pee is sterile and never cause infection.. but stay incision wound dry so you recover fast

I'm sorry to hear, if you were forced to have circumcision by cult without medical need.

On a side note:

I'm for genital autonomy of children- female, male and intersex. Let them decide by themselves when they are old enough. Whether to cut or not. Intact is a normal state. All others are moderated by human. I do allow/understand it for medical reason.

I'm not counting any pros and cons. It doesn't matter. All is to have his/her consent. For cutting genital needs his/her consent, not parents, family or community. There is something weird, if the community reject/discriminate intact.

The society I live in considers the routine infant circumcision as FGM/MGM and an act of violence for sovereignty. I agree.

My family didnt even bother to ask if I agree to have my circumcision which is so sad, im just shock that im going to be circumcised on monday without me knowing

I know you mentioned that you do not have a doctor - however you must have one - period. If not for this, then other needs. You should try to find one regardless.

I would also add to the above, that you go to you pharmacist and get some kind of topical antibiotic - over the counter stuff. This is the stuff you would use for any wound - like a bruise or cut that you get when playing football or something.
