Cant pull back foreskin in order to eliminate fishy smell

As the title states i cant pull back my foreskin since there is a (vein)? on the foreskin that connects to the base of the head, after pulling the foreskin up until the point where i can see the head of the penis I incur alot of pressure and pain, which im assuming is due to this connection, this is a very big problem since i need to clean the smegma under the foreskin but cant due to the pain and fear that i will tear the vein(would this be the frenulum?), so my questions are essentially : is this normal at 18? Will i tear the frenulum if I force it? If so is there a way to fix it? Is there another method to clean under without pulling it back? Please do keep in mind that I need need to retract since there is a strong fishy smell due to the trapped smegma

Were you ever able to pull back the foreskin?

Gentle stretching is what you need to do. After discussing your symptoms with your doctor. It’s good you realise that you need to deal with the smegma. Nobody likes a smelly penis.

Would the stretching you speak of be related to loosing the foreskin, the frenulum,or removing the connecting tissue(which i think is the frenulum(since it connects to the foreskin and runs across it on the underside),My foreskin as far as Im aware very loose unlike the pictures of phimosis, so thats not the issue, the issue is really just the connecting tissue which is basically preventing me from pulling past the tip due to either extreme fear of me tearing said connection or because i am simply unaware the its supposed to stay there and actually stretch the other way?

You really do need to be seen by a doctor to fully assess the problem. It may be that your frenulum is too short and surgery will be required.

Would this be the connecting tissue to the side/top of the head to the foreskin which travels across the underside of the foreskin(opposite from the foreskin area which you would see if you looked straight down), and if so would it be natural for it to remain there or is this a case of an irregularity, and if normal would it wise for me to assume that it should stay there and "stretch" just like it stretchs when i pull the foreskin away from the penis/upwards, I am quite limited on finances right now so im trying to get as much info as possible before leaving to go see a (urologist)? and have them tell me im perfectly fine

You need to present this to a GP, but it does sound similar to the conditions involved in a frenulum that needs looking at, and working on.

Devices available here: phimocure.net can stretch the opening to facilitate retraction. You can easily lengthen your frenulum by pulling gently on the of the foreskin where it attaches. You'll need to do that 4-5 times a day for a minute or two. When at urinal, take a few seconds to tug on it and also to retract gently to the limit. It won't take long to fix.

would i assume this means the the frenulum is meant to be attached to the head/side of the head and when pulling back is actually meant to stay connected the the area near the head and "stretch" itself the same way it stretches when i pull the foreskin away from the penis

in reply torandomperson93

Essentially yes.

would there be any risk of tearing if i force it since i can comfortably pull until that point until i feel a great tension which i would describe similar to getting a vaccine shot

in reply torandomperson93

There is a tiny risk.

Which is why you need to get checked by a doctor. Don’t be embarrassed or scared. You need to sort this out for your future health and sexual wellbeing.

Hi there. See your doctor. Stretching exercises may work but they are certainly not guaranteed to.

As I and Nudeglans have pointed out. Your doctor needs to be involved to address this issue.

would a urologist be the right doctor to go too

in reply torandomperson93

Your local doctor would be involved with your initial treatment but would refer you to a urologist if your symptoms persist.

You can get advice from a doctor on the 15 Square website 15square.org.uk 15 Square is a UK charity helping men deal with phimosis and also men damaged by circumcision

Get yr doctor to look at it. There are several issues going on simultaneously and you need to have a doctor’s input on them. When I was a kid my dad showed me how to begin pulling my foreskin to free my penis head. I though all boys were taught this. I’m wrong. using coconut oil or coco butter dab it all over yr foreskin and pull to stretch the foreskin....gently your goal is to fully expose yr penis head so you’re gonna have to be consistent every day until it’s free from being attached to the foreskin. Be gentle. The best way I dealt with smegma is I diluted Blue Listerine with water in a small cup and used a cotton ball to clean under the ridge of my dick head and the inside the foreskin (might sting but that’s why you dilute) which left my dick nice and fresh no smell and no complaints of bad taste from the girls that have gone down. I’m circumcised now, so no more extra time cleaning my soldier. now his helmet ⛑ stays clean all day even after long sweaty workouts, and skipped showers. I love it. Good luck my friend get yr doctor.
