In the last few months white patches have started to appear under my penis head, and my frenulum has begun to turn white and hard?
I am circumcised, and 27 years old if that is relevant.
Any ideas what it is?

Hi, it could be lichen sclerosus you should consult your doctor. How long have you been circumcised? Did you have a condition before you circ. Do you have a loose cut? You should definitely see the doctor for diagnosis.
I’ve been circumcised since birth. I don’t think it’s a loose cut?
You don't have any bunching behind the glans or coverage when you are soft And is it slowly spreading?
Behind the glands a little bit. But it doesn’t go over the head when soft.
It seems like it slowly is spreading or I’m just noticing it more now
Is it more noticeable when you are erect. It looks a little bit like LS or bxo. it is a bit unusual when you are already circumcised it usually happens to guys that have their foreskin still. you need to have it checked and diagnosed with your doctor they may refer you to a urologist or dermatologist. you probably will need some steroid cream. I would urge you to have this scene to as soon as you can it won't go away on it's own.
It’s about the same flaccid or erect. I’m going to try and make an appointment ASAP but money is tight
Yes man you should don't leave it
The weird thing is besides it’s look, I really don’t have any other symptoms. No itching, no pain. It’s odd as hell. I’m definitely getting looked at ASAP though
Yeah it is weird I Was the Same no real itchiness or pain just the whiteness in the skin it did eventually cause me having phimosis and balanitis I also had some patches on my glans which was my biggest concern that it would get to my meatus. You don't have any patches on your glans or around your meatus.
Just that patch around the frenulum. I would post another picture of it fully flaccid but it’s not letting me
That's good it's not anywhere else then if it is LS and you get it in time with some cream. No they only let you post one photo unless you link them with imgur or similar sites. Yours probably looks similar to mine in the flaccid photo on my post with not much bunching behind the glans.
I'm not sure if this will work or not, but that's what it looks like flacid.
Here's hoping I can get it looked at soon
I agree with the other posters on here. Clinically it looks like Lichen Sclerosus. A biopsy is not always needed to confirm. Potent topical steroids are the choice of treatment. A sexual health doctor ( if in the UK ) or dermatologist or urologist can start the diagnosis /start treatment
Beard117 , Did your situation get resolved or improved? Do let me know. I have a similar situation(but looks diiferent) over an year now. So proper diagnosis locally here. Recently I had an remote consultation with photos by a skin Dermatologist. The prescription from it appears to show some initial positive results.
Hi Man, any update have things improved for you?
Bro is all the mild white discoloured areas are Ls ? Because i had balanitis 5 years ago ... so applied candid cream little too much... next day it cause mild hypopigmentation... it persists for year.. no change in size or shape...Doctors said its nothing... should i worry?
Hi. In beard117 post it does look like LS but it should be properly diagnosed with a doctor. In you case I don't know if the cream would cause the discoloration it would be more likely from the condition you had. a second opinion from a different doctor might be no harm. When it's not spreading or changing that's good but if your concerned have it checked
Hi, Mine was getting worse over time. Not much of help from GP or GUM clinic. I had to consult a Dermatologist ( Skin specialist) outside UK, who correctly diagnosed it as 'Lichen Planus of Glans Penis'. Applying the prescribed ointment on the specific spots for 2 to 3 weeks ( not more) cleared as expected with pigmentation (Dark spots), which is now getting back normal.
If your situation hasnt improved, you should speak with a Dermatologist ( Skin specialist).
