Circumcision recovery time ?

I got my penis circumcised 3 days ago..there is swelling and redness...how much time does it take to recover from that ?

Also my doctor advised to apply coconut oil after 48 hours, but the glands and skin is too sensitive

It can take a couple of months or more to fully recover. You have just had surgery snd no surgery heals immediately.

Thank you osidge I was worried about the swelling and redness, so how long before someone can take a normal bath after the surgery without worrying about the stitches?

Be a couple days after the op before you should bathe. Don't worry about the stitches, after some weeks they'll dissolve and the site should be healed enough. You start to get fairly used to the new sensation after about 2-3 weeks, and be close enough to normality after maybe 6. Mine was still very swollen though for about 2 months after but for some people it just takes time for the swelling to fade.

Thanks man I was really worried about the swelling. Swelling is from the bottom of the penis head to the stitches and thanks for the advice it's my 4th day after the surgery little comfort there...but it's paining when it is erect which mainly happens while I am sleeping.

And on the bathing thing, like it's my 4th day should I start bathing normally after a week ??

Swelling will remain for some time, usually gets a bit worse up to 2 weeks but then it will slowly go down. It’ll look pretty bad for a couple more weeks but don’t worry, it will go back to normal

I just kept it clean and applied coconut oil on it for 3-4 times a day, doctor says it kight take 2-4 weeks to completely heal...but in this past month the healing process has been amazing..first 2 weeks there was a mild pain in erections and I was irritated bcz I couldn't sleep but in the 3rd 4th week the ring came off and the dry blood shed off, the healing was good

Nice to hear that!! Yes erections are a bit pain!! But pain makes them go away😌 When should i attempt to wear normal clothes?

Atleast after a month, your stitches or zsr ring will fall of by that time and you will feel much comfort. But I still wear loose clothes at home I try not to wear anything tight while I am not fully recovered.

Yes sure do that, penis head needs to be used to that sensitivity so do that gradually
