Why is my glans so sensitive

I had my circumcision 4 days ago, right. Why is my glans so sensitive when i touch it ? I cannot even wear pants because it rubs on my glans and tickles it, its so uncomfortable??

Hey bud. It’s totally normal, your glans is now exposed so it’ll take time for it to get used to the feeling. Before you had foreskin that always covered it so it wasn’t exposed to the environment as much, now it has to get used to the feeling of underwear and such.

It takes time! You’re only 4 days after the surgery; give it a bit more time, as days go by you’ll tolerate it and won’t be as Sensitive/uncomfortable to the touch

Is there like a time span that ill have to wait till its not sensitive and I get used to it or will it just happen?

Give yourself two weeks sir, it seems like an eternity, but you will get there.

Its that bad that I have to hold my pants from touching my glans. Also washing it i have been using salty water is that good for healing

Honestly I never used salt water; but I’ve heard others have... it’s better to consult with you doctor if it’s recommended for you, we’re all different.

And yeah the glans and even the frenulum area can be super sensitive, so give it about 2 weeks for it to feel better

If it’s that bad you could try keeping it wrapped in gauze for a while. I kept mine wrapped for like 2 weeks and the doctor told me that was fine. After those 2 weeks I stopped wrapping it and could walk around in pants normally. It will probably still be uncomfortable but nowhere near what I’m sure you’re feeling now. A little over a month in and it doesn’t really bother me at all.
