Will the glans of my penis be less sensitive after a Frenuloplasty?
Hi ! The area around the frenulum may become slightly less sensitive after the post op but its a little price to pay compared to the other complications of having a short frenulum . Also in some cases people do regain sensitivity later . Had a similar case as yours and opted for circ and haven't regretted it since ! Hope this helped !
The sensitivity changes temporarily. Nerves will grow in 8 - 12 months. the sensitivity may return.
Hi, it won't make the glans less sensitive but you will lose sensitivity where the frenulum was. Sounds like you may want to lose sensitivity? If so, go for a circumcision if the loss from the fren isn't enough.
I had a frenulplasty done about 8 months ago. It is great to not have to worry about the fren tearing all the time amd i did not notice any loss of sensation really. Would definatly recommend.
I had phimosis. I got circumcised with my fren intact but its taking an eternity to heal. I woukd have opted for a frenoplasty instead of a circumcision. I suggest you carry on with your frenoplasty surgery plans.
