Small penis and foreskin problems

I’m 17. My penis just hasn’t grown. It’s been on my mind for 2-3 years now . I think about it every day. I’ve always had a small bulge and I still can’t pull my foreskin back without it hurting. Can anyone help or direct me somewhere? I am not doing well psychologically, It takes such a huge toll and I just want to get out there!! I am 2 inches flaccid and 5 erect. I’ve heard this is normal but it feels so small and thin

At 17 you will still be growing. You need to stretch your foreskin to make it easier to retract. If you are struggling to do this you should speak to your doctors. You could mention your growth concerns at the same time. I was a late bloomer too . I first retracted my foreskin at 14. I blame being overweight for mine. Are you overweight?

Hello, I’m not massive no, How do I stretch it , I feel like boys around me have naturally bigger penises and they didn’t have to stretch theirs but I’ve turned 17 now and there’s boys who could fully retract at like you say 14. I feel like it will never grow or retract at this rate . Also what do I say to my doctor ? Do I book an appointment ? I’m scared he would have to take a look

Hey bud! First of all I know it can be embarrassing to talk about something like this but it shouldn’t! You should definitely contact a doctor and talk to him about it freely. He’s a professional and has to act like one when talking about something like this.

If you can’t retract it fully and it hurts it’s probably phimosis, which means the recommendation would be to get circumcised.

I got circumcised about 4 weeks ago and I’m still recovering from it

When I said stretching I was speaking about your foreskin. Don’t rush to get circumcised. Are you saying that you can retract your foreskin but it hurts? If you speak to your doctor ask for a steroid cream to help you stretch your foreskin unless you want to get circumcised? Your size sounds normal but as I said before you are still growing.

Definitely. I didn’t mean to say that’s the solution. You just need to explain it to the doctor and see what you could do.

You could also try sitting in a hot bath and gently stretch your foreskin when the hot water makes the skin soft and supple.

If you’re worried about it then you clearly need to speak to your doctor. 5 inches erect is not that small and is only half an inch below the average - and you’re only 17 so there’s still time.

Your doctor will of course want to look at it to make a judgement but there’s no need to be shy. I’ve been examined by lots of doctors over the years - male and female. It’s natural to be nervous about it and you’ll worry about getting an erection - we all do. But they really have seen it all before and to be honest, if you’re worried about size, then having them see it in both states can only be helpful.
